Diduga Inilah Penyebab Penyelam Tewas Saat Mencari Korban Lion Air

KEMATIAN penyelam anggota tim Basarnas saat bertugas mencari korban Lion Air di laut Pantai Tanjung Pakis Karawang, Jawa Barat, menambah duka publik Tanah Air.

Melansir Liputan6, penyelam tersebut diketahui bernama Syachrul Anto, merupakan anggota Indonesia Rescue Diver Team.

Syachrul Anto meninggal dunia usai mencari korban kecelakaan Lion Air PK-LQP, Jumat, 2 November kemarin. Saat ini jasad korban sudah disemayamkan di rumah duka, Surabaya, Jawa Timur.

Pimpinan Indonesia Rescue Diver Team, Bayu Wardoyo mengatakan, korban dievakuasi dari laut menggunakan kapal Victory milik Pertamina. Kemudian sekitar pukul 21.30 WIB menuju dermaga JICT 1.

“Habis itu langsung dibawa ke RSUD Koja, tapi dinyatakan meninggal pukul berapa tepatnya, kita nggak ada data. Terus dibawa ke rumah duka di Surabaya,” kata Bayu.

Bayu tak tahu persis kronologi rekannya itu bisa tewas usai menyelam mencari korban Lion Air. Menurut dia, semua sedang diselidiki oleh Basarnas.

“Kita (Indonesia Rescue Diver Team) di bawah koordinasi Basarnas, jadi yang ngurus semuanya ini Basarnas mulai dari dibawa ke RS Koja sampai ke kampung halamannya, dimakamin juga pakai cara Basarnas,” tutur Bayu.

Sementara itu, Dansatgas SAR Kolonel Laut (P) Isswarto mengatakan, penyebab meninggalnya penyelam tersebut diduga karena dekompresi.

“Diduga dekompresi, karena tekanan, bekerja tidak tahu waktu, harusnya naiknya pelan-pelan, lima meter berhenti dulu, sampai muncul (ke permukaan), dia mungkin langsung,” kata Isswarto.

Isswarto mengatakan, harusnya penyelaman berakhir pada pukul 16.00 WIB, karena kondisi gelap dan cuaca yang kurang bersahabat. Namun, korban masih berada di bawah laut hingga pukul 16.30 WIB.

“Korban dari sipil, penyelam Basarnas,” kata Isswarto. (Alz)
