Kisah 2 janda hidup miskin & kadang puasa tapi sekolahkan anak yatim Wajib Baca ,,
Kehidupan yang dijalani Astima (70), janda yang tinggal di Banjar Ketapang, Desa Pengambengan, Kabupaten Jembrana, di Bali, ini sungguh luar biasa. Di tengah kondisinya yang lumpuh, dia tinggal bersama anaknya yang juga janda. Hebatnya lagi, di tengah-tengah mereka ada seorang bocah berumur 5 tahun anak asuhnya yang yatim piatu.
Sejak lima tahun lalu, janda miskin ini tinggal di gubuk depan menara suar pelabuhan perikanan Pengambengan. Kelumpuhan yang dialami wanita tua ini sudah berjalan belasan tahun sejak suaminya meninggal 20 tahun lalu.
Kondisi tempat tidurnya pun sangat tidak layak. Hanya beralas kasur tipis yang sudah usang tanpa sprai dan bau. Demikian halnya lantai kamar yang awalnya dari semen sudah terkelupas dan berganti dengan tanah.
Dinding rumahnya setengah menggunakan bata merah, namun telah terkikis angin dan hujan. Sementara setengahnya lagi terbuat dari bilik yang sudah compang-camping.
Dalam rumah yang sangat sederhana dan tidak layak huni itu, Astima tinggal bersama Niswati (50), anak perempuannya yang juga seorang janda. Bahkan Astima juga mengajak tinggal Isma Sakina (5), anak tetangganya yang sudah yatim piatu karena kedua orang tuannya meninggal.
Untuk makan, keluarga kecil dan sangat memprihatinkan ini hanya seadanya saja. Bahkan tak jarang mereka berpuasa lantaran tidak memiliki beras untuk dimasak.
Selama ini yang menopang kebutuhan sehari-hari hanya Niswati sebagai buruh serabutan. Penghasilannya tidak menentu. Kadang dia pulang membawa uang hanya cukup untuk beli beras satu kilo, kadang dia harus pulang dengan tangan hampa.
"Saya di pantai bantu-bantu nelayan sandarkan perahu, kadang membetulkan jaring. Terpenting saya dapat upah untuk bisa makan," ujar Niswati, Kamis (12/3) di Jembrana Bali.
Hebatnya wanita ini, di tengah penderitaannya bersama ibunya yang tak tergolek lemas. Namun tetap berjuang untuk menyekolahkan anak yatim piatu yang diasuhnya sejak 2 tahun lalu.
"Yang saya pikirkan sekarang hanyalah masa depan Isma Sakina (anak angkat). Karena sudah waktunya dia sekolah," ucapnya lirih. [hhw]

Travelling through the city of Paris can be very pleasurable. Paris has an excellent underground system called the Metro; the Metro runs regular trains into the city centre and is very easy to understand. Cycling is also a great way to see the city.
There are so many great places in Paris to visit - way too many to write about them all. The main ones include: The Notre-Dame, Musee du Louvre, Jardin du Luxemburg, and the Arc de Triomphe
The Notre-Dame cathedral is a feat of medieval architecture. Pope Alexander the third laid the first stone in 1163 marking the start of 170 years of construction.
Musee du Louvre holds some of the most important art collections in the world, including Da Vincis' Mona Lisa and sculptures by Michelangelo.
Jardin du Luxemburg is the most popular park in Paris covering over 60 acres.
The Arc de Triomphe was built by Napoleon as a victory salute to his men after the Battle of Austerlitz in 1805. The Arc stands in Place Charles de Gaulle where twelve of Paris's main avenues begin, including Avenue de Champs Elysees.
Paris as a city has attracted artists for hundreds of years and the streets are full of modern day artists trying to sell their work. Famous painters like Monet and Picasso spent many years here and many of their art works can be seen in Paris today.
