Polisi Tendang Seorang Ibu, AKBP Yusuf Dicopot dari Jabatannya

Kepolisian Daerah Bangka Belitung mencopot Ajun Komisaris Besar M Yusuf, selaku kepala Subdirektorat Pengamanan Objek Vital Polda Bangka Belitung setelah tindakan kekerasan yang dilakukannya kepada seorang perempuan yang diduga akan melakukan pencurian. Kejadian polisi menendang seorang ibu tersebut viral dalam sebuah video di media sosial.

Berdasarkan Surat Telegram Kapolda Babel, nomor ST 1786/II/2018 Yusuf dicopot dari jabatannya sebagai Kasubdit PAM Obvit dan dimutasi ke Perwira Menengah Pelayanan Masyarakat Polda Babel dalam rangka pemeriksaan.

"Bridpropam Polda Babel sedang melakukan lidik," ujar kepala bidang humas Polda Babel. AKBP Abdul Munim dalam keterangan tertulisnya, Jumat, 13 Juli 2018.

Abdul menjelaskan, kejadian bermula saat sejumlah orang diduga hendak melakukan pencurian di toko milik Yusuf pada Rabu 11 Juli 2018. Diduga ada enam orang bersamaan masuk ke dalam toko, satu orang menunggu di luar toko di sebuah mobil.

Melihat hal mencurigakan, menurut Abdul, Yusuf segera menuju ke toko setelah menerima informasi situasi di lokasi kejadian. Empat orang lantas melarikan diri, tiga orang yang masih tersisa. "Yang bersangkutan saat itu bertanya kepada perempuan tersebut, karena perempuan itu mejawab tidak tahu, yang bersangkutan emosi," ujarnya.

Kejadian tersebut viral dalam sebuah video di media masa, Yusuf yang menggunakan kaus bertuliskan polisi, beberapa kali menendang ibu tersebut hingga jatuh ke lantai. Selain itu, Yusuf juga terlihat melemparkan benda dan mengenai perempuan tersebut.

Kepala Biro Penerangan Masyarakat Divisi Humas Mabes Polri Brigadir Jenderal Muhammad Iqbal mengatakan tindakan Yusuf tersebut jelas tidak mencerminkan jiwa seorang polisi sebagai pengayom dan pelindung bagi masyarakat. Polri akan segera memproses Yusuf untuk ditindaklanjuti. "Akan ada mekanismenya," ujar Iqbal saat dikonfirmasi, Jumat, 13 Juli 2018.
